I’m the artist behind Ginger Snapshots®.
I’m here to capture the kind of memory that makes you ache in the best possible way. The way your partner looked at you before they spoke. The scrunch of your child’s nose when they laughed too hard. The light that hit just right and no one else noticed, but I did.
And now it’s yours forever.
My photography isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. It’s about preserving the soft, fleeting, breathtaking reality of being human. But presence doesn’t mean passivity. Sometimes the photograph is already there, and my job is simply to notice it before it disappears.
Sometimes I see what could be there.
A different angle. A strange reflection. A dramatic piece of light. A ridiculous idea that somehow works. Some beauty is noticed. Some beauty is made. Knowing the difference is part of the art. Because time moves fast, and nostalgia hits harder than we ever think it will. What feels small now might one day be the moment you miss the most. I don’t want to be your photographer because you need someone with a "nice" camera.
I want to be your photographer because I will remember for you.
Because someday, these images will be what’s left, and they’ll be full of meaning, not just appearance.
Because this isn’t just photography.

Ginger Snapshots® began with an outdated camera, one lens, and a blazing conviction that memory deserved more than documentation.
It deserved devotion.
This wasn’t a happy accident. It was an act of will. Built in stolen hours, edited between jobs and newborn naps, shaped by instinct, emotion, and an obsession with the possibilities inside an ordinary moment.
Over the years, I’ve learned that extraordinary photographs come from two very different instincts: knowing when to leave a moment completely alone, and knowing when to make something that wasn’t there before.
I love both.
It’s knowing when to step back and when to lean in. When to disappear into the room and when to say, “Trust me. I have an idea!”
It’s years of listening deeply, observing closely, experimenting constantly, and learning how to turn both fleeting moments and wild ideas into something that lasts.
The name? It’s a little cheeky, a little defiant. A wink at my red hair, sure, but also at the fire beneath it.
Ginger Snapshots® was never meant to blend in.
Neither was the work.
It’s cinematic and emotional. Sometimes quiet. Sometimes theatrical. Sometimes meticulously composed and sometimes caught in half a second.
The thread isn’t a preset. It’s the way I see.
